DAY 1 (11/03/2008)

I was missing in action on tuesday,when the peeps when to transfer all footages to hereafter. Apparently, my name was missing in the list of people who has access to the damn edting suite. =_= What the hell.

DAY 2 (12/03/2008)
I came on Wednesday to start the ball rolling, i logged in using Ubaida's userID and her KINKY password. Editing was ok on the first day. I cut out the parts that i needa use for part 1 of the script, but JunMing's footages were still upstairs at the mac lab. We had some problems with the lip syncing for Hafiz's mom's scene at Jasee's part as his mom was too much of a superb actress. She didnt really followed the script, and the different shots we took had different sentences or words. We had to join up different sentences at the differnet shots we used, and there was some grammatic error in Malay. Luckily it still made sense. AND LUCKILY, Yokee isnt Malay. HAHAHA. There was some problems with the transferring up at the mac lab for JunMing's scene, and Hereafter was closing, so all headed home.

DAY 3 (13/03/2008)_
NEW SKILL LEARNT!! Thanks to JK from Julian's class. I had to censor off some parts due to explicit content in our video. So now, i know how to use Motion a little bit more. HAHAHAHAHA~! Edit went on well, JunMing did some editing in the morning before i came to take over his "shift". hahaha~! Editing was fun! Especially when we had like 70minutes of footage, to cut into 8minutes. HAHAHAHA~! The rest of the group(Ubs and Jasee) went back to Ubs' house to do a short reshoot. We left out the following scenes.
1. Still shot of the clock at 830am
2. Switching off of the televiosion.

They came back around 3plus, i slotted in the appropriate footages and YEAH~ we're quite done with the part 1.

DAY 4 (14/03/2008)
Gotta start on the footages for part 2, the exaggerated version of the wishes come true. I had alot of fun looking at all the ugle shots of ubs. HAHAHA. i hope she doesnt read my blog. I didnt encounter too much of a problem during editing, JunMing took the 9am - (until i come at ard 12pm) shift and i took the (whatever time i come, which is usually 12pm) - 5 or 6pm shift. Most of the part 2 were done, except for the ubs scene. I think we might overrun.HAHAA.

DAY 5 (17/03/2008)
WE'RE ONLY LEFT WITH AUDIO, AND SOME MINOR EDITING TO DO!! YEAH!! JunMing did the credit roll at home and put it in this morning before i came. Ubs then did the subtitles. I did some effects in motion for the transition from part 1 to part 2 of our story, and they worked well!! YEAH! Cut some audio from the front, and inserted it into the transition part. Those sound gotta be reverbed later on. THE COMPUTER SHUT DOWN ITSELF RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME WHEN I WAS SHOWING ASHLEY THE VIDEO. AND THE BEST PART WAS, I HAVEN SAVE YET. PLEASE, PEOPLE, IT'S TIME TO APPLE S! RRRAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! I had to redo some of the parts i did(luckily not much). Ubs came back to school after her appointment arranged priorly, and exported the VOs we did a few days ago. I continued to do the editing, and APPLE S constantly. We left ard 5plus when Guna wanted to close the lab.

DAY 6 (18/03/2008)
lAST PART OF EDITING! Ubs', the sound director started doing the sounds, while i forgot to bring my thumbdrive, which contained the VOs. The audio room had just been tore down without notice, which MAJORLY SHOCKED US as we had to use the effects from the library. =_= luckily Mark got. If not we can retake p2. AHAHAHA. I went home to get my thumbdrive while Ubs did the sound and Jasee did the paperwork, JunMing had something really urgent. Sound was a hassle as i observed, Ubs was going mad. Repeating the sounds she intended to find from the library to herself. I AM SO GLAD I FINISHED EDITING THE VIDEO K!! SO TIRING!!
Shooting Day 5, (LAST shooting day), 10th March, Monday

We met up in school and made our way the Hafiz's house to do the shooting. We initially had a script for his mother, but apparently, she is a "professional suria channel actress". She was so into the character, Jasee looks like a piece of prop rather than the main lead. HAHAHA. We managed to finish the shooting at his house quite fast. We had alot of fun trying to make Jasee look like a human rather than a stone. HAHA. She looks damn SPASTIC with my VERY NICE pair of heels, and the SUPER CHACHAT pants and top. Wanna catch Jasee dressed like that? Catch it soon in Hereafter!

I must say Jasee got the easiet role. JunMing had to be a psycho, i had to strip, Ubs had to look ugly and become crazy. Jasee's the luckiest of the lot can! Still complain complain complain.

We went over to Ubs' house to finish the scene of her dark rings building up. I had alot of fun laughing st Ubs. HAHAHAHAH~! Me and Jasee certainly had tonnes of fun colouring ubs's eyes!!

Ok, and everyone has gotta work/meet ppl/fall sick on saturday and sunday(8th and 9th). So we had to postpone jasee's scene to Monday, at Hafiz's house.

Shooting is never easy. But i must say that it went SO MUCH smoother with a properly shooting script! (comparing it to vidpro's project, we went about 10000000000000% smoother). Now here's the breakdown of the things we all did as a group.

Shooting Day 1 4th March 2008, Tuesday
Location 1: My Place
Scene shot: Me being nagged by my mother at home after puking all over my top last night upon being drunk. It was done quite fast as we had everything planned out. It is a short scene and therfore we were able to wrap up within 80 minutes.
Location 2: Carpark near Hafiz's place
Scene: It's JunMing's doom's day that day. He was required to do things you'd never imagine him to do. Who hugs,kisses,caresses and sniffs a Spark Bike? The answer is simple, JunMing. haha! He was very cooperative with our impromptu and sudden change of script. We made it more dramatic than compared to the script we presented during interim 1, to give it more impact as requested by Yokee. We took quite long for this scene as we had to figure out which angle to choose so that we wouldnt need to put Hafiz's NEW bike on the ground, which most probably will scratch his beloved even though he didnt mind. We finally managed to get the geest of it and the entire shooting was rather smooth.(Other than the ants and flies and mosquitoes we had to endure.) We had some time after warpping up to try out some camera techniques, and we even got our opening scene done! COMING SOON *We just need to decide on our group's name for this production. HAHA*

Shooting Day 2 5th March 2008, Wednesday
Location 1: Ubaida's House
Scene: Wanted to do Jasee's wish at Ubs' place, but her mother went out by the time i was there. *i woke up late and there was some unforseen circumstances. HAHA.* We settled for just the scene in Ubaida's room, filming Ubaida rushing her project. I became the cameraman for the day as we are one man(and the only man) down. JunMing's sick, so he stayed at home to rest. We had some problems as we had to shoot certain angles that couldnt fit neither the tripod nor a person to hold the camera. But we still managed to do it and got some interesting shots done. THERE ARE TONNNNEEESSS OF NGs FOR THIS SCENE. CHECK OUT UBAIDA'S ...............................! What made her wish that wish? COMING THIS MONSOON.
Ok back to the more technical ones, we tried doing the interval shots after consulting our professional cameraman(though he's sick) today. I was quite amazed by the technology now. I was very stressed up by this particular shot we had to do when i was writing out the script. I thought we had to place the camera right in front of the camera from 11am to 830pm, and fast forward it in FCP. BUT, we can do it in the camera in just less than 20minutes!!!!

Shooting Day 3 6th March 2008, Thursday
Location 1: Temasek Polytechnic
Scene: Did a couple of scenes today in school. We tried to ask the GO if we could borrow their place to do a shoot. But unfortunately, those were very anal people. We decided to change the script and do it outside the staffroom at level 4. A lesson for everyone who wants to shoot outside a staffroom in TP. Next time, go to level 6, or choose other schools. Probably engine or IT. We had to pause shooting for 86754324876 times because there were students looking for lecturers, lecturers going in and out, other staffs too. What a bad place it is. But good shots never come by easy. HAHA. Anyway, i became the makeup artist today, and Ubaida turned into JU-ON "spoof* instantly. The shooting went on well with a few NGs, great for behind-the-scene though. HAHA. I was enjoying myself looking at people's expression after looking at Ubaida. She certainly has the make to be a play artist. HAHAHA. Anyway, we did the scene for my wish after lunch. The toilet scene was SO MUCH tiring than when i went to the public toilet to relieve myself on normal basis. I had to re-do the same TIRING action for alot of time. Camera angles were rather hard to find and adjust as i was supposed to look like i am shitting, therefore i cannot have my pants on in the scene. But of cause, precautions of our film being rated R21 was taken. I wore shorts inside and had a very long cardigan wrapped around my body. I might have shed maybe 1kg inside a small space, all wrapped up, and sharing air with 2 other people. We shot part 2 of my scene at the toilet located at level 3, and had to to wrap up before we could complete it. So, more to come in shooting day 4! haha! Seen Jean without her pants on and with a dramatic expression while she is passing motion? CATCH IT THIS CLOUD JUICED MONTH!

Shooting Day 4, 7th March 2008, Thursday
Location: Temasek Polytechnic
Scene: I wore the unwashed top of Jasee's for conti purposes, thanking God for my permanent synus symptoms. We continued the shots from yesterday, just a few CUs of me washing my hands and grumbling, MSs of me doing the same thing over and over again. Yesterday's scenes were much more difficult. We tried to find the angle whereby we see the back of my head and my reflection on the mirror, not exposing the camera to the viewers. I am sure we are improving on our technical skills! WANNA CATCH THE FUNNIEST SCENE IN TP FEMALE'S TOILET? COMING SOON!
